Jamie and I are engaged!!!

About a week ago she asked me to marry her, and I've been all giddy ever since. Of course, since I'm flat-broke the wedding probably won't be for a while, but man . . . it looks like the future family I've dreamed of might actually happen.

Probably no one reads my LJ anymore, but just in case they do, I've started a new Star Wars blog.

Yeah, I've been gone a while, though it seems like hardly anyone on my f-list is active anymore. There was a new Lego Star Wars special on tonight and it's as hilarious as the first one. Darth Vader and Darth Maul duking it out (loses it). And yup, Han was in it. First special had little Han, now we have adult Han. Nice to have something in the ORIGINAL trilogy timeframe for a change ( Read more... )

I've watched The Padawan Menace four times so far and I'll probably end up watching it again tonight. It's got this hold on me, but for a completely different reason why other people might watch it over and over again. Yesterday was Harrison's 70th birthday. I watched the first Star Wars of course ("Where did you dig up that old fossil - heh heh, it never gets old, eh, no pun intended). Well Harrison may be 70, but my HAN will NEVER grow old. Whether Harrison thinks so or not, HAN is his crowning achievement.
